Here it is July 4th again, and as I grow older I realize that our Freedom and Liberty are not as secure as I imagined as a child.

He that would make his own liberty secure, must guard even his enemy from opposition; for if he violates this duty he establishes a precedent that will reach himself.  ~Thomas Paine

 I like to take some time and consider the cost of the Freedom I enjoy today and wonder if I am doing all I can to ensure Freedom tomorrow.
My brother and family are coming into town for a small reunion of brothers and cousins. I hope you all are healthy and free!

Find your purpose and pursue it with all your HEART!

Sad News I find today as another Great Damery has passed away.

Thomas Arthur Damery, 77, of Mattapoisett, passed away Monday, February 8, 2010, in New Bedford after a lengthy illness. He grew up in Lexington, Massachusetts and was a graduate of Lexington High School.

He served in Korea with the U. S. Army. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1957 from Boston University. He worked in a variety of purchasing and administrative functions with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Lincoln Laboratory for twenty-five years. He helped develop a, widely adopted Physics curriculum entitled the Physical Science Study Committee.
